What is Hyperbaric

Hyperbaric Therapy, also know as HBOT, is a process in which a person is exposed to 1 .3 ATM or 4.0 PSI oxygen with a 300% saturation rate. The increased oxygen is diffused into the blood, tissue, blood plasma and cerebral fluids. It is a non-invasive, painless procedure gaining medical recognition over the past 50 years.

How Does HBOT Work?

Hyperbaric Oxygen is a simple matter of Physics. Henry's Law states, "The amount of a gas absorbed by a liquid is in proportion to the pressure of the gas above the liquid."  The engineers of hyperbaric chambers used this law to create an environment in which the pressure of oxygen can be safely increased and diffused into the blood and fluids.

Joe Namath on Hbot

Throughout his 13 seasons in the NFL, Joe Namath has had his share of hard hits; hard hits to the body and head.  And, with multiple hits to the head comes great risk for traumatic brain injury (TBI), something that is quite common in the NFL and other high impact sports.  Joe has seen first hand at what Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment can do and how well it can improve neurological issues.

"My thinking is much clearer, finding the right words has become easier and I remember events with more clarity.  One of the really great results is that my sleep has improved; I sleep more soundly and have vivid dreams," he explains.
